How To Install libliquid-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libliquid-dev
libliquid-dev is:
liquid-dsp is a free and open-source digital signal processing (DSP) library designed specifically for software defined radios on embedded platforms. The aim is to provide a lightweight DSP library that does not rely on a myriad of external dependencies or proprietary and otherwise cumbersome frameworks. All signal processing elements are designed to be flexible, scalable, and dynamic, including filters, filter design, oscillators, modems, synchronizers, and complex mathematical operations.
This package contains the files required to compile programs using liquid-dsp.
There are three methods to install libliquid-dev on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libliquid-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libliquid-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libliquid-dev

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libliquid-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libliquid-dev
Install libliquid-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libliquid-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libliquid-dev
