How To Install liblinear-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install liblinear-dev on Kali Linux.
What is liblinear-dev
liblinear-dev is:
LIBLINEAR is a library for learning linear classifiers for large scale applications. It supports Support Vector Machines (SVM) with L2 and L1 loss, logistic regression, multi class classification and also Linear Programming Machines (L1-regularized SVMs). Its computational complexity scales linearly with the number of training examples making it one of the fastest SVM solvers around.
This package contains the header files and static libraries.
There are three methods to install liblinear-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install liblinear-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install liblinear-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install liblinear-devInstall liblinear-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install liblinear-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install liblinear-devInstall liblinear-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install liblinear-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the liblinear-dev package we can use the following command:

To uninstall liblinear-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove liblinear-devRemove liblinear-dev Configurations and Data
To remove liblinear-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
