How To Install liblhapdf-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

What is liblhapdf-dev
liblhapdf-dev is:
LHAPDF provides a unified and easy to use interface to modern PDF sets. It is designed to work not only with individual PDF sets but also with the more recent multiple “error” sets. It can be viewed as the successor to PDFLIB, incorporating many of the older sets found in the latter, including pion and photon PDFs. In LHAPDF the computer code and input parameters/grids are separated thus allowing more easy updating and no limit to the expansion possibilities.
This package provides development files of LHAPDF, including C++ bindings.
There are three methods to install liblhapdf-dev on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install liblhapdf-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install liblhapdf-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update

sudo aptitude -y install liblhapdf-dev
How To Uninstall liblhapdf-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

To remove liblhapdf-dev configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge liblhapdf-dev

We can use the following command to remove liblhapdf-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
