How To Install libldns-dev on Kali Linux

The goal of ldns is to simplify DNS programming, it supports recent RFCs like the DNSSEC documents, and allows developers to easily create software conforming to current RFCs, and experimental software for current Internet Drafts.
This package contains development libraries and headers.
There are three methods to install libldns-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libldns-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libldns-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libldns-devInstall libldns-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libldns-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libldns-devInstall libldns-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libldns-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the libldns-dev package we can use the following command:
