How To Install libjtidy-java on Kali Linux

JTidy is a Java port of HTML Tidy, a HTML syntax checker and pretty printer. Like its non-Java cousin, JTidy can be used as a tool for cleaning up malformed and faulty HTML. In addition, JTidy provides a DOM interface to the document that is being processed, which effectively makes you able to use JTidy as a DOM parser for real-world HTML.
There are three methods to install libjtidy-java on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libjtidy-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libjtidy-java package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libjtidy-javaRemove libjtidy-java Configurations and Data
To remove libjtidy-java configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libjtidy-javaRemove libjtidy-java configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
