How To Install libjs-json on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libjs-json on Kali Linux.
What is libjs-json
libjs-json is:

The files in this collection implement JSON encoders/decoders in JavaScript.
JSON became a built-in feature of JavaScript when the ECMAScript Programming Language Standard - Fifth Edition was adopted by the ECMA General Assembly in December 2009. Most of the files in this collection are for applications that are expected to run in obsolete web browsers.
There are three methods to install libjs-json on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libjs-json Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjs-json using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libjs-jsonInstall libjs-json Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjs-json using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libjs-jsonInstall libjs-json Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjs-json using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libjs-jsonHow To Uninstall libjs-json on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libjs-json package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libjs-jsonUninstall libjs-json And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libjs-json and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libjs-jsonRemove libjs-json Configurations and Data
To remove libjs-json configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libjs-jsonRemove libjs-json configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libjs-json configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libjs-jsonDependencies
