What is libjs-extjs

libjs-extjs is:

Ext JS is a cross-browser JavaScript library for building rich internet applications.

The Ext JS library is widely use in numerous web applications. It includes: high performance, customizable UI widgets, well designed and extensible Component model, qn intuitive, easy to use API, Commercial and Open Source licenses available. Ext JS supports all major web browsers including: Internet Explorer 6+, FireFox 1.5+ (PC, Mac), Safari 3+, Opera 9+ (PC, Mac).

This package doesn’t include the documentation that is available in the package libjs-extjs-doc.

There are three methods to install libjs-extjs on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libjs-extjs Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libjs-extjs using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libjs-extjs

Install libjs-extjs Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libjs-extjs using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install libjs-extjs

Install libjs-extjs Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install libjs-extjs using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libjs-extjs

How To Uninstall libjs-extjs on Ubuntu 18.04

To uninstall only the libjs-extjs package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libjs-extjs

Uninstall libjs-extjs And Its Dependencies

To uninstall libjs-extjs and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libjs-extjs

Remove libjs-extjs Configurations and Data

To remove libjs-extjs configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge libjs-extjs

Remove libjs-extjs configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove libjs-extjs configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libjs-extjs
