How To Install libjs-async on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libjs-async on Kali Linux.
What is libjs-async
libjs-async is:
Async is a utility module which provides straight-forward, powerful functions for working with asynchronous Javascript.
Async provides around 20 functions that include the usual ‘functional’ suspects (map, reduce, filter, forEach??) as well as some common patterns for asynchronous control flow (parallel, series, waterfall??). All these functions assume you follow the Node convention of providing a single callback as the last argument of your async function.
This provides async for use directly in web browsers.
There are three methods to install libjs-async on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libjs-async Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjs-async using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libjs-asyncInstall libjs-async Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjs-async using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libjs-asyncInstall libjs-async Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjs-async using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libjs-asyncHow To Uninstall libjs-async on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libjs-async package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libjs-asyncUninstall libjs-async And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libjs-async and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libjs-asyncRemove libjs-async Configurations and Data
To remove libjs-async configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libjs-asyncRemove libjs-async configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libjs-async configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libjs-asyncDependencies
