How To Install libjitescript-java on Ubuntu 18.04

jitescript provides a nice domain specific language around the popular ASM Java library for bytecode generation purposes. It’s modeled after a Ruby library called BiteScript with similar functionality.
The goal is to offer a Java library with a similar API so that bytecode generation can be as nice in Java as BiteScript makes it in JRuby.
There are three methods to install libjitescript-java on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libjitescript-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libjitescript-java using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

How To Uninstall libjitescript-java on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libjitescript-java package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libjitescript-java and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libjitescript-java
Remove libjitescript-java Configurations and Data
To remove libjitescript-java configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libjitescript-java
Remove libjitescript-java configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libjitescript-java configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libjitescript-java
