How To Install libjim-dev on Kali Linux

What is libjim-dev
libjim-dev is:
Jim is an opensource small-footprint implementation of the Tcl programming language. It implements a large subset of Tcl and adds new features like references with garbage collection, closures, built-in Object Oriented Programming system, Functional Programming commands, first-class arrays and UTF-8 support. All this with a binary size of about 100-200kB (depending upon selected options).
This package provides the libjim development files.
There are three methods to install libjim-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libjim-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjim-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libjim-devInstall libjim-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjim-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libjim-devInstall libjim-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libjim-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libjim-devHow To Uninstall libjim-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libjim-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libjim-devUninstall libjim-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libjim-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libjim-devRemove libjim-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libjim-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
