How To Install libjeromq-java on Kali Linux

What is libjeromq-java
libjeromq-java is:
JeroMQ is pure Java implementation of the ZeroMQ messaging library (libmzq). Compared to jzmq (libzmq-java) this implementation doesn’t rely on a native library.
JeroMQ support ZMTP/2.0, the tcp:// and inproc:// protocols. ipc:// protocol works only between jeromq. The API is compatible with jzmq.
There are three methods to install libjeromq-java
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libjeromq-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libjeromq-java
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libjeromq-java

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libjeromq-java
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libjeromq-java
Install libjeromq-java Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libjeromq-java
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libjeromq-java
How To Uninstall libjeromq-java on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libjeromq-java
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libjeromq-java
Uninstall libjeromq-java And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libjeromq-java
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libjeromq-java
Remove libjeromq-java Configurations and Data
To remove libjeromq-java
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libjeromq-java
Remove libjeromq-java configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
