JaCoCo is a code coverage checking library for Java. It has been integrated into many libraries and tools like Gradle, Maven, and Android SDK.

This package currently provides 2 libraries:

  • org.jacoco.core.jar
  • org.jacoco.report.jar

There are three methods to install libjacoco-java on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libjacoco-java Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libjacoco-java using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update
