How To Install libisns-dev on Ubuntu 20.04

Open-iSNS is an implementation of the Internet Storage Name Service (iSNS), according to RFC 4171, which facilitates automated discovery, management, and configuration of iSCSI and Fibre Channel devices on a TCP/IP network.
This package provides the development libraries and header files for the libisns library.
There are three methods to install libisns-dev on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libisns-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libisns-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libisns-dev using apt by running the following command:

Install libisns-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libisns-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

To remove libisns-dev configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libisns-dev
