How To Install libisl-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libisl-dev
libisl-dev is:
isl is a library for manipulating sets and relations of integer points bounded by linear constraints. Supported operations on sets include intersection, union, set difference, emptiness check, convex hull, (integer) affine hull, integer projection, and computing the lexicographic minimum using parametric integer programming. It also includes an ILP solver based on generalized basis reduction.
This package contains the development files.
There are three methods to install libisl-dev on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libisl-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libisl-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libisl-dev using apt by running the following command:

Install libisl-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libisl-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libisl-dev

sudo apt-get -y purge libisl-dev
