How To Install libiscsi-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libiscsi-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libiscsi-dev
libiscsi-dev is:
Libiscsi is a clientside library to implement the iSCSI protocol that can be used to access resource of an iSCSI Target.
The library is fully async with regards to iscsi commands and scsi tasks, but a sync layer is also provided for ease of use for simpler applications.
This package contains the header files, static library and other files needed to compile applications which uses libiscsi.
There are three methods to install libiscsi-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libiscsi-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libiscsi-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libiscsi-devInstall libiscsi-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libiscsi-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libiscsi-devInstall libiscsi-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libiscsi-dev package we can use the following command:

To remove libiscsi-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
