How To Install libiperf0 on Ubuntu 20.04

What is libiperf0
libiperf0 is:
Iperf3 is a tool for performing network throughput measurements. It can test either TCP or UDP throughput.
This is a new implementation that shares no code with the original iperf from NLANR/DAST and also is not backwards compatible.
This is the runtime package for programs that use the shared iperf library.
There are three methods to install libiperf0
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install libiperf0

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libiperf0

by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libiperf0
Install libiperf0 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libiperf0
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libiperf0
How To Uninstall libiperf0 on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the libiperf0
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libiperf0
Uninstall libiperf0 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libiperf0
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libiperf0
Remove libiperf0 Configurations and Data
To remove libiperf0
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libiperf0
Remove libiperf0 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
