How To Install libidn11-dev on Kali Linux

What is libidn11-dev
libidn11-dev is:
GNU Libidn is a fully documented implementation of the Stringprep, Punycode and IDNA specifications. Libidn’s purpose is to encode and decode internationalized domain names. The Nameprep, XMPP, SASLprep, and iSCSI profiles are supported.
This package contains the header files, static library, pkg-config information, API man pages, and the Libidn manual.
There are three methods to install libidn11-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libidn11-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libidn11-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libidn11-devInstall libidn11-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libidn11-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libidn11-devInstall libidn11-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libidn11-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the libidn11-dev package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libidn11-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libidn11-devRemove libidn11-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libidn11-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libidn11-devRemove libidn11-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
