How To Install libhwloc-doc on Kali Linux

What is libhwloc-doc
libhwloc-doc is:
Hardware Locality (hwloc) provides a portable abstraction (across OS, versions, architectures, …) of the hierarchical topology of modern architectures. It primarily aims at helping high-performance computing applications with gathering information about the hardware so as to exploit it accordingly and efficiently.
libhwloc provides a hierarchical view of the machine, NUMA memory nodes, sockets, shared caches, cores and simultaneous multithreading. It also gathers various attributes such as cache and memory information.
libhwloc supports old kernels not having sysfs topology information, with knowledge of cpusets, offline cpus, and Kerrighed support

There are three methods to install libhwloc-doc on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libhwloc-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libhwloc-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libhwloc-docInstall libhwloc-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libhwloc-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libhwloc-docInstall libhwloc-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libhwloc-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libhwloc-docHow To Uninstall libhwloc-doc on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libhwloc-doc package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libhwloc-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libhwloc-docRemove libhwloc-doc Configurations and Data
To remove libhwloc-doc configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libhwloc-docRemove libhwloc-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
