How To Install libhdf5-mpich-dev on Kali Linux

What is libhdf5-mpich-dev
libhdf5-mpich-dev is:
Hierarchical Data Format 5 (HDF5) is a file format and library for storing scientific data. HDF5 was designed and implemented to address the deficiencies of HDF4.x. It has a more powerful and flexible data model, supports files larger than 2 GB, and supports parallel I/O.
This package contains development files for use with MPICH2. Warning: the C++ interface is not provided for this version.
There are three methods to install libhdf5-mpich-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libhdf5-mpich-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libhdf5-mpich-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libhdf5-mpich-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libhdf5-mpich-devHow To Uninstall libhdf5-mpich-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libhdf5-mpich-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libhdf5-mpich-devUninstall libhdf5-mpich-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libhdf5-mpich-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libhdf5-mpich-devRemove libhdf5-mpich-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libhdf5-mpich-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libhdf5-mpich-devRemove libhdf5-mpich-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libhdf5-mpich-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libhdf5-mpich-devDependencies
