How To Install libhd-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libhd-dev
libhd-dev is:
hwinfo is the hardware detection tool used in SuSE Linux.

This package contains the static library and header files from the hwinfo package.

After updating apt database, We can install libhd-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libhd-dev
How To Uninstall libhd-dev on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libhd-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libhd-dev
Uninstall libhd-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libhd-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libhd-dev
Remove libhd-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libhd-dev configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libhd-dev

We can use the following command to remove libhd-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
