How To Install libgtp-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libgtp-dev
libgtp-dev is:
OpenGGSN is a Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN). It is used by mobile operators as the interface between the Internet and the rest of the mobile network infrastructure.
The library libgtp implements the GTP protocol between SGSN and GGSN and this package contains the development files for this library.
There are three methods to install libgtp-dev on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libgtp-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libgtp-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
