How To Install libgtk-3-dev on Kali Linux

What is libgtk-3-dev
libgtk-3-dev is:
GTK is a multi-platform toolkit for creating graphical user interfaces. Offering a complete set of widgets, GTK is suitable for projects ranging from small one-off tools to complete application suites.
This package contains the header and development files which are needed for building GTK applications.
There are three methods to install libgtk-3-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libgtk-3-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgtk-3-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libgtk-3-devInstall libgtk-3-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgtk-3-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libgtk-3-devInstall libgtk-3-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgtk-3-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libgtk-3-devHow To Uninstall libgtk-3-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libgtk-3-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libgtk-3-devUninstall libgtk-3-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libgtk-3-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgtk-3-devRemove libgtk-3-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libgtk-3-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libgtk-3-devRemove libgtk-3-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libgtk-3-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libgtk-3-devDependencies
