How To Install libgsound-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libgsound-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libgsound-dev
libgsound-dev is:
GSound is a small library for playing system sounds. It’s designed to be used via GObject Introspection, and is a thin wrapper around the libcanberra C library.
This package contains the static library and development headers.
There are three methods to install libgsound-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libgsound-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgsound-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libgsound-devInstall libgsound-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgsound-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgsound-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the libgsound-dev package we can use the following command:
