How To Install libgraphite2-3 on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libgraphite2-3
libgraphite2-3 is:
Graphite is a system that can be used to create and use “smart fonts” capable of displaying writing systems with various complex behaviors, such as: contextual shaping, ligatures, reordering, split glyphs, bidirectionality, stacking diacritics and complex positioning.
This library was designed and developed by the NRSI (Non-Roman Script Initiative) within SIL International (www.sil.org) to act as a complement to other smart font rendering technologies with limited practical local extensibility. Its purpose is to help meet the needs of a very large number of “minority language” communities for local extensibility of complex script behaviors.
The behavior of the rendering engine for a given writing system is specified through extra tables added to a TrueType font. These tables are generated by compiling a GDL (Graphite Description Language) source file into a font using grcompiler.
This package contains the shared library.
There are three methods to install libgraphite2-3 on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

sudo aptitude -y install libgraphite2-3
How To Uninstall libgraphite2-3 on Ubuntu 18.04

To uninstall libgraphite2-3 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgraphite2-3
Remove libgraphite2-3 Configurations and Data
To remove libgraphite2-3 configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libgraphite2-3
Remove libgraphite2-3 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libgraphite2-3 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libgraphite2-3
