How To Install libglyr-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libglyr-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libglyr-dev
libglyr-dev is:
Glyr is a library to retrieve music-related metadata from several online providers (Amazon, Discogs, Musicbrainz…).
It can be used in media player programs to download cover art, lyrics, biography and much more.
This package contains the header files necessary to build applications using libglyr.
There are three methods to install libglyr-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libglyr-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libglyr-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libglyr-devInstall libglyr-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libglyr-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libglyr-dev package we can use the following command:
