What is libgig8

libgig8 is:

libgig is a C++ library for loading, modifying and creating Gigasampler files and DLS (Downloadable Sounds) Level 1/2 files.

This package contains the shared library files.

There are three methods to install libgig8 on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libgig8 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libgig8 using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libgig8

Install libgig8 Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libgig8 using apt by running the following command:

Install libgig8 Using aptitude
