How To Install libgeoip-dev on Kali Linux

What is libgeoip-dev
libgeoip-dev is:
GeoIP is a C library that enables the user to find the country that any IP address or hostname originates from. It uses a file based database.
This database simply contains IP blocks as keys, and countries as values and it should be more complete and accurate than using reverse DNS lookups.
This package contains the development files.
There are three methods to install libgeoip-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libgeoip-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgeoip-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libgeoip-devInstall libgeoip-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgeoip-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
