How To Install libgecode-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libgecode-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libgecode-dev
libgecode-dev is:
Gecode is a toolkit for developing constraint-based systems and applications. Gecode provides a constraint solver with state-of-the-art performance while being modular and extensible.
Gecode is radically open for programming: it can be easily interfaced to other systems. It supports the programming of new propagators (as implementation of constraints), branching strategies, and search engines. New variable domains can be programmed at the same level of efficiency as finite domain and integer set variables that come predefined with Gecode.
There are three methods to install libgecode-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libgecode-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgecode-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libgecode-dev package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libgecode-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgecode-devRemove libgecode-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libgecode-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
