What is libgdcm3.0

libgdcm3.0 is:

Grassroots DiCoM is a C++ library for DICOM medical files. It is automatically wrapped to python/C#/Java (using swig). It supports RAW,JPEG (lossy/lossless),J2K,JPEG-LS, RLE and deflated. It also comes with DICOM Part 3,6 & 7 of the standard as XML files.

This package contains the libraries needed to run GDCM applications.

There are three methods to install libgdcm3.0 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libgdcm3.0 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libgdcm3.0 using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update
