How To Install libgdcm-java on Debian 11

Grassroots DiCoM is a C++ library for DICOM medical files. It is automatically wrapped to python/C#/Java (using swig). It supports RAW,JPEG (lossy/lossless),J2K,JPEG-LS, RLE and deflated.
Java bindings to the GDCM DICOM library. It allows developers to use GDCM from Java environment.
There are three methods to install libgdcm-java
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libgdcm-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libgdcm-java

using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install libgdcm-java
using aptitude

How To Uninstall libgdcm-java on Debian 11
To uninstall only the libgdcm-java
