How To Install libgdbm-compat-dev on Kali Linux

What is libgdbm-compat-dev
libgdbm-compat-dev is:
GNU dbm (‘gdbm’) is a library of database functions that use extendible hashing and works similarly to the standard UNIX ‘dbm’ functions.
The basic use of ‘gdbm’ is to store key/data pairs in a data file, thus providing a persistent version of the ‘dictionary’ Abstract Data Type (‘hash’ to perl programmers).
This package includes development files, required to build old programs, that use legacy ‘dbm’ interface. For new programs, please use modern interface, provided by libgdbm6 and libgdbm-dev.
There are three methods to install libgdbm-compat-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libgdbm-compat-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libgdbm-compat-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
