How To Install libgd-ocaml on Ubuntu 18.04

This package provides an interface to the GD library for OCaml programmers.
GD is a graphics library. This is particularly useful in World Wide Web applications, where PNG is one of the formats accepted for inline images by most browsers.
This package contains only the shared runtime stub libraries.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libgd-ocaml using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libgd-ocaml using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libgd-ocaml using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libgd-ocaml
How To Uninstall libgd-ocaml on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libgd-ocaml package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libgd-ocaml
Uninstall libgd-ocaml And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libgd-ocaml and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgd-ocaml
Remove libgd-ocaml Configurations and Data
To remove libgd-ocaml configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libgd-ocaml
Remove libgd-ocaml configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libgd-ocaml configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libgd-ocaml
