How To Install libgbm-dev on Debian 9

What is libgbm-dev
libgbm-dev is:
This package contains the GBM buffer management library. It provides a mechanism for allocating buffers for graphics rendering tied to Mesa.
GBM is intended to be used as a native platform for EGL on drm or openwfd.
This package provides the development environment for compiling programs against the GBM library.
There are three methods to install libgbm-dev on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libgbm-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libgbm-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libgbm-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libgbm-dev
How To Uninstall libgbm-dev on Debian 9
To uninstall only the libgbm-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libgbm-dev
Uninstall libgbm-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libgbm-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgbm-dev
Remove libgbm-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libgbm-dev configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libgbm-dev
