How To Install libfreenect-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libfreenect-doc
libfreenect-doc is:
libfreenect is a cross-platform library that provides the necessary interfaces to activate, initialize, and communicate data with the Kinect hardware. Currently, the library supports access to RGB and depth video streams, motors, accelerometer and LED and provide binding in different languages (C++, Python…)
This library is the low level component of the OpenKinect project which is an open community of people interested in making use of the Xbox Kinect hardware with PCs and other devices.
This package contains the documentation of the API of libfreenect.
There are three methods to install libfreenect-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libfreenect-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libfreenect-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libfreenect-doc
Install libfreenect-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libfreenect-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libfreenect-doc
Install libfreenect-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libfreenect-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libfreenect-doc
How To Uninstall libfreenect-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libfreenect-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libfreenect-doc
Uninstall libfreenect-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libfreenect-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libfreenect-doc
Remove libfreenect-doc Configurations and Data
To remove libfreenect-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libfreenect-doc
Remove libfreenect-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libfreenect-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libfreenect-doc
