How To Install libfontconfig-dev on Kali Linux

What is libfontconfig-dev
libfontconfig-dev is:
Fontconfig is a font configuration and customization library, which does not depend on the X Window System. It is designed to locate fonts within the system and select them according to requirements specified by applications.
This package contains the static libraries and headers needed for the development of applications using fontconfig.
There are three methods to install libfontconfig-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libfontconfig-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libfontconfig-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libfontconfig-devInstall libfontconfig-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libfontconfig-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libfontconfig-devInstall libfontconfig-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libfontconfig-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libfontconfig-devHow To Uninstall libfontconfig-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libfontconfig-dev package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libfontconfig-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
