How To Install libfaac-dev on Kali Linux

What is libfaac-dev
libfaac-dev is:
The FAAC project includes the AAC encoder FAAC and decoder FAAD2. It supports several MPEG-4 object types (LC, Main, LTP, HE AAC, PS) and file formats (ADTS AAC, raw AAC, MP4), multichannel and gapless en/decoding as well as MP4 metadata tags. The codecs are compatible with standard-compliant audio applications using one or more of these profiles.
This package contains the development files.
There are three methods to install libfaac-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libfaac-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libfaac-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libfaac-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libfaac-devUninstall libfaac-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libfaac-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libfaac-devRemove libfaac-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libfaac-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libfaac-devRemove libfaac-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
