How To Install libeigen3-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libeigen3-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libeigen3-dev
libeigen3-dev is:
Eigen 3 is a lightweight C++ template library for vector and matrix math, a.k.a. linear algebra.
Unlike most other linear algebra libraries, Eigen 3 focuses on the simple mathematical needs of applications: games and other OpenGL apps, spreadsheets and other office apps, etc. Eigen 3 is dedicated to providing optimal speed with GCC. A lot of improvements since 2-nd version of Eigen.
There are three methods to install libeigen3-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libeigen3-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libeigen3-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libeigen3-devInstall libeigen3-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libeigen3-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libeigen3-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libeigen3-devHow To Uninstall libeigen3-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libeigen3-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libeigen3-devUninstall libeigen3-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libeigen3-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libeigen3-devRemove libeigen3-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libeigen3-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libeigen3-devRemove libeigen3-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libeigen3-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libeigen3-devDependencies
