How To Install libdmraid-dev on Ubuntu 22.04
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libdmraid-dev
on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is libdmraid-dev
libdmraid-dev is:
dmraid discovers, activates, deactivates and displays properties of software RAID sets (eg, ATARAID) and contained DOS partitions.
dmraid uses the Linux device-mapper to create devices with respective mappings for the ATARAID sets discovered.
This package contains the header files needed to link programs against dmraid.
There are three methods to install libdmraid-dev
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libdmraid-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install libdmraid-dev

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
