libdiscid is a library for creating MusicBrainz DiscIDs from audio CDs. It reads a CD’s table of contents (TOC) and generates an identifier which can be used to lookup the CD at MusicBrainz (http://musicbrainz.org). Additionally, it provides a submission URL for adding the DiscID to the database.

There are three methods to install libdiscid0 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libdiscid0 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libdiscid0 using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update
