How To Install libdav1d-dev on Ubuntu 22.04

What is libdav1d-dev
libdav1d-dev is:
dav1d is an AOMedia Video 1 (AV1) cross-platform decoder and focused on speed and correctness.
dav1d supports the following features:
- support for all features of the AV1 bitstream
- support for all bitdepth, 8, 10 and 12bits
- support for all chroma subsamplings 4:2:0, 4:2:2, 4:4:4 and grayscale
- full acceleration for AVX-2 chips
- full acceleration for SSSE3+ chips
- full acceleration for ARMv8 chips
- partial acceleration for ARMv7 chips
This package provides the development files for libdav1d.
There are three methods to install libdav1d-dev on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libdav1d-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libdav1d-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libdav1d-dev

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libdav1d-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libdav1d-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libdav1d-dev
How To Uninstall libdav1d-dev on Ubuntu 22.04

We can use the following command to remove libdav1d-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
