How To Install libdaq-dev on Debian 9

In this tutorial we learn how to install libdaq-dev on Debian 9.
What is libdaq-dev
libdaq-dev is:
DAQ is a library that introduces an abstraction layer to PCAP functions facilitation operation in a variety of hardware and software interfaces.
It was written for Snort but it may be useful to other packet processing applicatons.
This package contains the static library and the C header files.
There are three methods to install libdaq-dev on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
