How To Install libconfig9 on Kali Linux

What is libconfig9
libconfig9 is:
This library features a fully reentrant parser and includes bindings for both the C and C++ programming languages. It runs on modern POSIX-compliant systems such as Linux, Solaris, and Mac OS X (Darwin), as well as on Microsoft Windows 2000/XP and later (Visual Studio or MinGW).
This library allows parsing, manipulating and writing structured configuration files.
There are three methods to install libconfig9 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libconfig9 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libconfig9 using apt-get by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libconfig9 package we can use the following command:
