What is libcglm-dev

libcglm-dev is:

cglm is an optimized 3D math library written in C99 (compatible with C89). It is based on the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL) specification and similar to the original glm library except this library is written in C. It uses the same header-only approach like glm but also supports pre-compield function calls

There are three methods to install libcglm-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libcglm-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libcglm-dev

How To Uninstall libcglm-dev on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the libcglm-dev package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libcglm-dev

Uninstall libcglm-dev And Its Dependencies

To uninstall libcglm-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libcglm-dev

Remove libcglm-dev Configurations and Data

To remove libcglm-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge libcglm-dev
