How To Install libcext-doc on Kali Linux

What is libcext-doc

The libcext is a C utility library, which is used to implement ESO’s Common Pipeline Library (CPL). The library contains a basic collections framework (maps, linked lists, queues), memory management, strings, logging and others.

The package contains the API documentation for libcpl.

There are three methods to install libcext-doc on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libcext-doc Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libcext-doc using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libcext-doc
