How To Install libcdio++-dev on Kali Linux

on Kali Linux.
What is libcdio++-dev
libcdio++-dev is:
This package contains development files (headers and static library) for the libcdio++ library.
This library is to encapsulate CD-ROM reading and control. Applications wishing to be oblivious of the OS- and device-dependant properties of a CD-ROM can use this library.
Some support for disk image types like BIN/CUE and NRG is available, so applications that use this library also have the ability to read disc images as though they were CD’s.
There are three methods to install libcdio++-dev
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libcdio++-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libcdio++-dev
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libcdio++-dev

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libcdio++-dev

by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libcdio++-dev
using aptitude
by running the following command:

How To Uninstall libcdio++-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libcdio++-dev
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libcdio++-dev
