How To Install libcamp-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

Many applications can take advantage of CAMP, in order to automate tasks which would otherwise require a huge amount of work. For example, CAMP can be used to expose and edit objects’ attributes into a graphical user interface. It can also be used to do automatic binding of C++ classes to script languages such as Python or Lua. Another possible application would be the serialization of objects to XML, text or binary formats. Or you can even combine all these examples to provide a powerful and consistent interface for manipulating your objects outside C++ code.
This package contains the files needed for development.
There are three methods to install libcamp-dev on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libcamp-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libcamp-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libcamp-dev using apt by running the following command:

Install libcamp-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libcamp-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libcamp-dev
How To Uninstall libcamp-dev on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libcamp-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libcamp-dev
Uninstall libcamp-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libcamp-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libcamp-dev
Remove libcamp-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libcamp-dev configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libcamp-dev
Remove libcamp-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libcamp-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libcamp-dev
