How To Install libcallaudio-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libcallaudio-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libcallaudio-dev
libcallaudio-dev is:
callaudiod is a daemon for dealing with audio routing during phone calls. It provides a D-Bus interface allowing other programs to:
- switch audio profiles
- output audio to the speaker or back to its original port
- mute the microphone
This package contains development files to use when writing applications that interface with callaudiod.
There are three methods to install libcallaudio-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libcallaudio-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libcallaudio-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libcallaudio-devInstall libcallaudio-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libcallaudio-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
