Botan is a C++ library which provides support for many common cryptographic operations, including encryption, authentication, and X.509v3 certificates and CRLs. A wide variety of algorithms is supported, including RSA, DSA, DES, AES, MD5, and SHA-1.
This package contains the 2.x version of Botan.
There are three methods to install libbotan-2-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libbotan-2-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libbotan-2-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
