How To Install libbmusb6 on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libbmusb6 on Kali Linux.
What is libbmusb6
libbmusb6 is:
bmusb is a userspace driver for Blackmagic’s USB3 series of video capture and playback cards (although only the capture part is currently supported), in particular the Intensity Shuttle (HDMI) and UltraStudio SDI cards. These are not currently served by Blackmagic’s own Linux drivers.
bmusb is not API- or ABI-compatible with Blackmagic’s drivers.
This package contains the shared library.
There are three methods to install libbmusb6 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libbmusb6 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
