How To Install libbase-ocaml on Debian 12

What is libbase-ocaml
libbase-ocaml is:
Base is a standard library for OCaml. It provides a standard set of general purpose modules that are well-tested, performant, and fully-portable across any environment that can run OCaml code. Unlike other standard library projects, Base is meant to be used as a wholesale replacement of the standard library distributed with the OCaml compiler. In particular it makes different choices and doesn??t re-export features that are not fully portable such as I/O, which are left to other libraries.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libbase-ocaml
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install libbase-ocaml
How To Uninstall libbase-ocaml on Debian 12
To uninstall only the libbase-ocaml
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libbase-ocaml
Uninstall libbase-ocaml And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libbase-ocaml
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libbase-ocaml
Remove libbase-ocaml Configurations and Data
To remove libbase-ocaml
configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libbase-ocaml
